I played Born to Run for an audience last night; first time for me. I’ve been working on this one a long time, trying to capture the arrangement somehow. The song fits surprisingly well into an open E tuning, so that’s how I did it. I’ve never heard anyone do it that way before, but it really is quite a good fit. This is one of those songs that’s a classic piece of music history, in my books.
